As a former teacher and qualified PT I created TRU Training to cut through all the misleading fitness nonsense online.
It all started in my living room in 2019 running Instagram live workouts, I then took time away to be with my family as I became a father to Lucius.
Now, with a fully customised app and program, I’m back doing what I love, helping every member achieve their goals!

Once you've signed up, choosen a plan and entered all your personal details we will get your program ready! From there we will send you a link to download the app, or you can use the website version. Please note that you can only access the app after you've signed up on the website.
Yes. TRU Training, like your health journey, is an ongoing experience, not a one-time change. The programs are constantly updated with workouts and meals tailored to you, and as long as you subscribe, you will receive continuous support from the TRU team.
The original challenges will be continuing at TRU! As a member you'll get access to all future challenges, as well as the full range of customised challenges in the app!
Yes! We have members from all around the world!
There are home based workouts, including custom to suit you and our original follow along workouts! All you need is some light weights or anything you can lift in both hands.
Yes! Every workout Michael has filmed will be ready for you to access on the app. Including brand new 10, 15, 20 and 30 minute home workouts to do!
TRU Training is the perfect place for a beginner. The workouts are tailored to you and your goals, so if you're new to the gym or exercising in general, the program will be designed accordingly.
No, each month is different. As you progress, so will your program. This may involve an increase in weight, a change of exercises, and changes in your meal plan.
To cancel your subscription just email the TRU team with at least 7 days notice so that you are not charged again. Please note that when you cancel all plans and support will be removed from your account.
